A day here

Slow mornings. Big afternoons. Quiet nights.

Wake to light through the pines and coffee on the patio. Walk into Elk Meadow before the day begins. Come back for lunch in the kitchen, an afternoon down at the lake, a film in the cinema room.

As the sun drops behind the foothills, the fire pit comes to life and the sky does what it only does at altitude.

The launchpad

Disappear into the quiet — or into Colorado.

Trails start at the door, the city is close, and some of the state's most iconic places are a short drive down the canyon.

5-minute walk

Elk Meadow Open Space

Trails from the door

One of Evergreen's largest open-space parks — 1,140 acres and 16+ miles of trail for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking, with Bergen Peak rising above it. It starts a five-minute walk from the house.

~10 min drive

Evergreen Lake & Downtown

Lake & village

Paddleboard, canoe, or fish the lake in summer; in winter it becomes one of the largest Zamboni-groomed outdoor ice rinks anywhere. Historic downtown Evergreen sits alongside it with cafés, galleries, and Bear Creek.

~25 min drive

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Iconic venue & park

The legendary sandstone amphitheatre — world-class concerts, sunrise yoga, and trails through Red Rocks Park — is a short drive down the canyon toward Denver.

Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway

Highest paved road

One of the highest paved roads in North America climbs past alpine lakes and ancient bristlecone pines toward 14,130 feet. Accessed from Evergreen; open roughly Memorial Day through Labor Day, timed-entry reservations required.

Dan Jahn, your host at Evergreen Mountain House
Your host

Hosted, not hovering.

Your host is Dan Jahn. For Guest Suite stays, Dan is on-site — the kind of host who keeps the coffee stocked, knows which trail is quiet on a Saturday, and is around when you need something and out of the way when you don't. Evergreen Mountain House is cared for and managed by Corvus Homes, so booking, check-in, and anything you need mid-stay are handled with a professional touch.

When you book the Guest Suite, that hosting is the upgrade — the stocked coffee, the honest trail tip, the seamless arrival. When you book the whole house, it's yours entirely.

Dan’s home is lovely! I was there for a short stay and the space was very relaxing. The dogs were sweet and Dan was incredibly friendly and communicative. The listing was accurate with many amenities and in a gorgeous area.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. Walkable to restaurants.

We loved staying at Dan’s home. He was a great host giving us the best recommendations around town, which included local hikes, biking trails and restaurants that were all 10 out of 10. We got to use the e-bikes, spacious hot tub, beautiful kitchen, and private home movie theatre. Evergreen is beautiful and this is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. The backyard was seriously a dream, wild life super close and fun to watch. We loved his two doggies - Ernie & Eddie who would run to the door every time we came home! We also loved coming home to black out automatic shades, snacks, and a movie next to the fireplace. Highly recommend Dan’s place to have a serene and beautiful stay!
